China-Laos railway tretches from the border of two countries(Mohan-Moding port) in the north to the Wanxiang in the south. The whole line is 418meters long, within which 60% sections are bridges and tunnels. The design speed is 160km per hour and the whole line has 31 stations. The project plan to start within this year and will continue for 5 years. Its total investment is 40 billion and it is a joint construction by China and Laos in according with the proportions of share70% and 30%.

China-Laos railway is the first overseas project of which China is the main investment and construction part and cooperate and directly connect with China railway network. The whole line adopts Chinese technology standard and Chinese facility.
