The design speed of Chengdu-Chongqing Passenger Railway is160 kilometers per hour, and it will be the fastest transport way between Chengdu and Chongqing. It will shorten the distance form Chengdu to Shanghai. At present, the construction has made great progress. The station building has basically completed. The semi-range track of viaduct begin form Chengdu East has been completed. According to the latest news, Chengdu-Chongqing Passenger Railway will put into trail operation in July 2015 and open to traffic in September 2015.
