After stopping construction for almost half an hour, all the sections of Yunnan-Guangxi Railway which used Spherical Bearing and Friction Pendulum Bearing have been reconstructing completely since this May. This railway starts from Nanning, Guangxi in the east, passing through Long’an, Pingguo, Tiandong, Tianyang, Baise(Youjiang District) in Yunnan, and through Funing, Guangnan, Mile, Shilin in Yunnan and ends in New South Station of Kunming. The main line lasts710.269km long, in which, Guangxin section lasts 274.777km long. It’s estimated the whole line needs 85.034 billion RMB, while Guangxi section needs 30.985 billion RMB. The designed speed of Nanning-Baise section is 250km/h while Baise-Kunming section is 200km/h, preserving the condition for running at the speed of 250km/h. The whole line is planned to be finished and open to the public on June 30, 2016.
