In 2012, Shanxi will build another 1000km highways, then the mileage of whole provincial expressways will reach to 5000km and then the highway network of “Three Longitudinals, Eleven Transverse and Eleven Rings” will come into being. This year, 23 key under-construction projects will be paid great attention to. Except the 4 projects (Yushe-Heshun, Changping, Gaoping-Qinshui, Taijia Yellow River Bridge) which started to be built at the end of last year and those projects are difficult to be built, the other 19 projects which are under the construction should be completed this year.
