Recently, the Fifth Bureau of Sinohydro Corportation won the bidding on special railway line project for coal transportation in Wulanhaote city with the contract amount 730,175,108 Yuan.

This special line locates in Xing'anmeng territory, east area of Inner Mongolia, bypassing northeast of Wulanhaote city. The new main line is 39.21km long, including: 39.21km of subgrade in total, 34km roadbed within section, accounting for 86.71% of main line; a total of 4.564 million cubic meters of earth and stone; bridges and tunnels: bridge length is 2.51 km with 8 super-size, big-size and medium-size bridges as well as 127culverts; tunnel and open cut tunnel: one tunnel with 3,210m long. This line was started on August 20, 2011 and will be finished on May 10, 2013.
